Continental NH3 1-3/4" ACME Threaded Coupler | A-577-C
Continental Safety Couplings combine a rugged lightweight aluminum casting with a steel insert, insuring strength and reliability for a high flow extension coupling. These acme couplings were designed to reduce the undesirable flashing of liquid on the operator when making connections. They also provide a more convenient arrangement when tank fitting guards present a hook-up problem. Continental safety couplings are commonly referred to as "long" female ACME to male thread couplings.
