The polypropylene Female NPT X Female NPT by TerreMax is designed for fluid flow applications on equipment that transfers fluid like sprayers, pumps, hoses, bulk tanks and many other applications.

TerreMax ball valves have been designed for commercial usage. All TerreMax bolted valves maintain great chemical resistance and are made from high strength custom blended fiberglass filled polypropylene with Teflon™ seats and stem bushings for smooth operation and use stainless steel bolts and nuts making them corrosion resistant.

The bolted ball valve balls are diamond turned after molding, making it spherically perfect which provides precise contact between the ball and seats.

These valves are manufactured specifically with the commercial user in mind. Features include a compact design, stainless steel bolts, they are precision molded in polypropylene, and the polypropylene is reinforced with fiberglass for additional strength. The self-aligning ball moves freely against the Teflon® seats for smooth operation. The valve opens and closes with little pressure on the handle. And our range of manifold valves contain Viton® “O” rings, and the Teflon® self-lubricating stem bushings and seats cannot stick or bind.

FKM: 

• Advantages: Outstanding resistance to high heat; excellent resistance to oil, gasoline, hydraulic fluids and hydrocarbon solvents; good flame retardance; very good impermeability to gases and vapor; very good resistance to weather, oxygen, ozone, and sunlight.
• Limitations: Poor resistance to tear and cut growth; very little resistance to oxygenated solvents; fair adhesion to fabrics and metals. 

PTFE:  

• Advantages: outstanding weather resistance, high resistance to ozone, and high resistance to the degrading effects of exposure to such solvents as acetone, MEK, and xylene.
• Limitations: Very poor elastic memory making it subject to tearing during installation.
